Stamp Club!

We want to remind you that the Stamp Club will be meeting again this month. For this month, it will be on Saturday, October 29 from 9:30 - 11 AM at the False Creek Community  Centre. You are welcome to drop by to trade stamping ideas and to have a great time!  The drop in fee is $5.  There is a card swap every meeting if you'd like to partake bring 10 cards with you.

This month Eleonor will be showing everyone some projects using goldleaf and the new design adhesives.  We'll also play with glitter and one of the new Hero Arts Stamp and Die sets.  The only thing you need to bring to class is a sponge dauber or what you have on hand to distress paper with ink.  Aside from that, we'll have everthing there for you!  However, Eleonor did say that if you want to bring her a cookie, you may!

Card of the Week

It's a rainy last Wednesday of October here.  It's wet and cold out, so we thought for the card of the week we'd send you some cheer in the way of this whimsical flower card!  This is done using Hero Art's Playful  Flowers & Butterflies Stamp and Die set.

 

To "ground" the flower, we simply took a paintbrush and did a swoosh of green colour underneath the flower using some Peeled Paint distress ink.  To order this kit with enough supplies to create the card 6 times, give us a call at 604-684-4657.   And don't forget to come by the store tomorrow, Thursday anytime between 10:30 and 12:30 for coffee and a card.  For just $2 you get to enjoy a cup of Starbucks coffee and make a card with us!

Guess what?

We have even more new stamps!  As if House Mouse and Stampendous wasn't enough....how about some Penny Black?  We've always loved Penny Black -- their images are perfect for colouring in with copics or tombows.   Below are a couple of examples.

Doesn't this snowman look fluffy enough to eat?  .....almost wants you to go out and get some chocolates and marshmallows!   Cute doesn't even begin to describe these images.   Come on down and see all the new stamps.....the store is full of them!

Stampendous!

Guess what else is coming??  As if House Mouse isn't enough to get your creative juices flowing....we also have some new Stampendous stamps arriving!  We've always loved Stampendous images and we have some very cute, whimsical images for you to play with.

Ths image is called Top Hat and this gorgeous card was created by designer, Debi Hammons.

This  image is called Chickadee and this card was created by designer, Kimberly Crawford.

Card of the Week

It's raining here in Vancouver today.....but we are sure our cheerful butterfly card will make you smile!  This is our card of the week, using one of Hero Arts stamp and die sets.

Who said butterflies don't come out in the rain?

Coffee & a Card

House Mouse!

SQEEE.....EEEK!  Do you like mice?  If you do you will be in for a treat.  House Mouse is on its way!  This adorable mouse is a delight to stamp and colour in!  With many images featuring him (is he a guy? .....we're not really sure?!!) doing all his silly antics, you'll be sure to find a stamp that is just for you!

Isn't he just adorable.  So cute, we almost want him as a pet!  

Here is a trio of mice playing with mistletoe....uh-oh......looks like someone's gonna get a kiss!
