Homemade for the Holidays Event Day 7


Welcome to Day 7 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.  Today we are sharing a beautiful and elegant Christmas Card.  To create this card use the Cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder on white cardstock for the background. 
 
Wrap a piece of glitter ribbon to the background piece before gluing it down.  Die cut the Memory Box Winterland Tree from white cardstock and add it to a plain white cardstock square and attach it to the card with foam tape or pop dots to make it pop. To finish off the card add some delicate pearls to the tree.

Homemade for the Holidays Event Day 6


Welcome to Day 6 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event. Today we are sharing this cute owl Christmas card.  To create it we used the Memory Box die cut Clever Owl. 
 
We turned him into a Santa owl by adding a hand cut black belt and a Santa hat. 
 
 Add a branch and leaves for him to sit on and a die cut Joy sentiment and you have a very cute Christmas card.

Homemade for the Holidays Event Day 5


Welcome to Day 5 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.  Today we are shifting gears and sharing an awesome Christmas card made using the Tim Holtz Snowman Blueprint stamp and some Ranger Alcohol Inks and Melting Pot.

To create this card make a background using the Ranger Alcohol Inks.  Stamp the Tim Holtz Snowman Blueprint stamp first on the background then on white cardstock and cut it out and color it in as desired.  Glue the Snowman over the original stamped image on the background. 
 
For the sentiment die cut the Season’s Greetings from cardstock using the Dee Dies and using the Ranger Melting Post and UTEE melt the enamel on the die cut words.  Add some glitter and you have a perfect winter feel card.

Welcome to Day 4 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.  Today’s card is more treat and less Trick.  To create this card we used Memory Box Stamps and papers and stamped a cute cupcake on a table with the sentiment have a sweet Halloween. 
 
To finish it off we added some stars and sparkle.

Homemade for the Holidays Event Day 2


Welcome to Day 2 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.  Today we are sharing another beautiful Thank You Card using the pretty Magenta leaf stamp.  First off to create the background of the card cut some strips of patterned paper and embossed cardstock using he Crafts Too embossing folder, die cut a scalloped circle from Kraft cardstock and a circle that fits just inside from white cardstock.

Stamp the Magenta leaf image and color, and then stamp the Impression Obsession Thank You sentiment.  Add some pretty ribbon and you have another beautiful Thank You card.

Homemade for the Holidays Event Day 1


Welcome to Day 1 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.  This weekend is Canada’s Thanksgiving Day and we are celebrating by saying thanks in a special way – with a homemade card. 

To make this card we used some beautiful fall colors and embossed the orange cardstock using the 5th Avenue embossing folder Diamond.  We stamped out the Impression Obsession Thank You sentiment, added some pretty ribbon and you have a beautiful homemade Thank You card.
