Homemade for the Holidays Event Day 20


Welcome to Day 20 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.  Today we are sharing a cute polar bear Christmas Card. 
 
To create this card die cut the “Merry” sentiment from red cardstock and the Christmas sentiment from white cardstock and glued onto a red strip of cardstock. 
 
Stamp the polar bears with black ink then add the Merry letters to look  like the polar bears are holding them.

Homemade for the Holidays Event Day 19


Welcome to Day 19 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.   Today we are sharing this pretty Christmas card. 

To create this card we used the Dreamweaver Bare Trees Silhouette stencil, embossing paste and glitter.  Start with a dark blue cardstock for the base and mat the finished design onto a lighter blue cardstock.  Stamp your sentiment with Versamark and use white embossing powder to create your sentiment.  Add a  shimmery ribbon to finish off this card.

Homemade for the Holidays Event Day 18


Welcome to Day 18 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.   Today we are sharing this beautiful Christmas tag. 

To create this card stamp and ink the background of the card with Ranger Distress Ink and then die cut the ornament from cardstock and stamp with a snowflake stamp then using UTEE cover the image and melt the UTEE to create a beautiful shine.  Finish of the tag by stamping the snowflake with gold embossing powder and adding some ribbon.

Welcome to Day 17 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.   Today we are sharing this beautifully textured Christmas card.

To create this card we used the Dreamweaver Poinsettia stencil and embossing paste.  Once the embossing paste sets just ink the raised areas of the paste and you have a beautiful poinsettia image.  Add a stamped sentiment and ribbon to finish it off.

To make this card use the Dreamweaver Branch and Berries stencil and ink just the branch portion of the stencil.  Using dimensional glue and glitter add the berries to the branch.  Stamp your sentiment and add a ribbon bow to finish it off.

To create this card cut the card base from a mint green cardstock and glue a smaller square of coordinating patterned paper to the centre.  Stamp your image on cream cardstock and ink the edges.  To finish of the card use a nice swirl stencil and glitter that coordinates with your colors.

Welcome to Day 14 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.  Today we are sharing an elegant card using the die cut from Memory Box called Winterland Tree.

To create this card create a card base from a dark red cardstock and wrap with gold ribbon.  Then die cut the Winterland Tree from white cardstock and attach it to a smaller dark red cardstock panel bordered with gold cardstock and glue it to the left of the ribbon.  Stamp your Holiday Greetings sentiment in white at the bottom of the card.

Homemade for the Holidays Event Day 13


Welcome to Day 13 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.  Today we are sharing a fun, simple but beautiful Christmas card.

To create this card start with a Kraft color cardstock for the base of the card and round the corners.  Stamp the Happy Holidays sentiment on the card base to the middle right of the card.  Wrap the card with some red and green ribbon just under the stamped sentiment. Die cut the branch, berries and leaves and add to an smaller piece of Kraft cardstock that has inked edges and rounded corners and attach to the card base with pop dots.

Welcome to Day 12 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.   Today we are sharing a unique and elegant card using the Vertical Ornaments stencil from Dreamweaver.
 
To create this card we are starting with a longer 8” x 41/2” card base made from shimmery cardstock.  Then we created another panel with a window to feature the image using a dark red cardstock, the Vertical Ornaments Stencil and gold glitter.

Welcome to Day 10 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.   Today we are sharing a card using the Dreamweaver Stencil Branch and Berries to create this beautiful Christmas Card.

Homemade for the Holidays Event Day 9


Welcome to Day 9 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.  Today we are sharing a beautiful Christmas card featuring the Christmas Card Silhouette, Christmas Tree 2 and Mini Doves dies from Dees Distinctively Dies.  To create this card die cut the Christmas Card Silhouette from a lighter green cardstock then die cut the Christmas Tree 2 from a darker green cardstock.  Glue them together. 
 
Die cut the Mini Doves, ink the edges with gold ink and using pop dots place the doves on the tree.  Finish off the card with some sparkly ribbon.

Homemade for the Holidays Event Day 7


Welcome to Day 7 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.  Today we are sharing a beautiful and elegant Christmas Card.  To create this card use the Cuttlebug snowflakes embossing folder on white cardstock for the background. 
 
Wrap a piece of glitter ribbon to the background piece before gluing it down.  Die cut the Memory Box Winterland Tree from white cardstock and add it to a plain white cardstock square and attach it to the card with foam tape or pop dots to make it pop. To finish off the card add some delicate pearls to the tree.

Welcome to Day 6 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event. Today we are sharing this cute owl Christmas card.  To create it we used the Memory Box die cut Clever Owl. 
 
We turned him into a Santa owl by adding a hand cut black belt and a Santa hat. 
 
 Add a branch and leaves for him to sit on and a die cut Joy sentiment and you have a very cute Christmas card.

Homemade for the Holidays Event Day 5


Welcome to Day 5 of the Homemade for the Holidays Event.  Today we are shifting gears and sharing an awesome Christmas card made using the Tim Holtz Snowman Blueprint stamp and some Ranger Alcohol Inks and Melting Pot.

To create this card make a background using the Ranger Alcohol Inks.  Stamp the Tim Holtz Snowman Blueprint stamp first on the background then on white cardstock and cut it out and color it in as desired.  Glue the Snowman over the original stamped image on the background. 
 
For the sentiment die cut the Season’s Greetings from cardstock using the Dee Dies and using the Ranger Melting Post and UTEE melt the enamel on the die cut words.  Add some glitter and you have a perfect winter feel card.
