This poppy stamp is from Hero Arts and is a negative.  You can stamp and emboss it and you have these wonderful spaces to work direct to to paper.  Here we've added a little bling to finish it off .

Card of the Week

Scor-Buddy has arrived

 

 

The SCOR-BUDDY is a mini portable scoring tool provided by Scor-Pal. It is great for making Folds to make homemade cards. The Scor-Buddy is a mini version of the very popular Scor-Pal. This little buddy will surely be your best pal. With its smaller size it is a card makers dream. It has grooves every 1/4" across the board, plus 1/8" for the first and last inch of the board. It measures approximately 9 x 7.5". It is ideal for invitations, cards, small gift boxes and so much more. It comes with a free Scor-Tool in a snap-in holder and its own faux suede storage tote. It is lightweight and portable, great for taking to your crops.

It's that time again,  Stamp Club is this Saturday.  Heather will be demoing some paper engineering and some alcohol ink techniques. SHe's asked that you bring the following supplies:

Stamp club is the last Saturday of every month (July 31) and is held at the False Creek Community Center on Granville Island from 9:00 11:00 and every one is welcome (there is a $5 drop in fee).

Don't touch that mouse! You are at I'm Impressed Blog. This morning when I logged on there was some problems with the layout.  I'm not sure if there Blogger or Cutest blog on the Block issues.  So as I try to resolve them I have added an image that makes me think, hot summer fun. What do you think? Too, in your face?  I'll be playing with it over the next week.  Would love your feed back.

Big news! Poppystamps is getting ready for their biggest release yet! 47 brand new rubber stamp images! So, all you Poppystamps fans, we are pleased to announce that they should arrive next week!

Some Card Inspiration

We're sorry that we won't be able to see you guys tomorrow night for our Amuse Auction and fun night.  But we still have our make n'takes tomorrow and Saturday, so drop by the store between 11 - 2 PM on those days and make yourself a card!  In the meantime here's some card inspiration for you.

This card features a fold out mini accordion that is all tied up neatly with polka dot ribbon.  Once open, it folds out to reveal the inside!

Hope this inspires you to make your own little accordion card.  We have lots of Amuse stamps and samples in the store to help get you started!
