Card of the Week
New babies are always a special occasion and we've created a special card to help celebrate. We started with a cream card and add a baby blue mat. Then embossed the Cuttlebug Moroccan Screen on to cream card and highlighted it with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. The next step is to use Spellbinders Labels 19 to cut a cream layer large enough to stamp the Memory Box Sock Monkey on. Colour the monkey, we used blues and greys. Then use the largest Spellbinder from the set to cut out a baby blue label to mount the sock monkey on with foam tape. Cut Memory Box Charlotte Boarder die from cream card stock and embellish with pearls. Assemble layers and add bow as shown.

Card of the Week
Poppies are in season! There is nothing quite like them and I'm lucky enough to to pass a field of them on my walk to work. So, a little inspiration...
peel offs, copics and a little perspiration...
CAS (clean and simple). I tried to embellish with ribbon, pearls and peel offs but I liked it best this way.

Honeycomb Owl
I couldn't wait! Instead of receiving the Inky Antics order and putting
it out on the shelf, I ripped open a packaged of Honeycomb Pop and
started playing! What do You think? I used the 'Clever Owl' die from
Poppy stamps and the 'Birch Tree' from Memory Box. This time I gave him
fluffy little wings next time I want give him a fluffy body.

Memory Box Puffy Clouds and Modern Landscape
We have received loads of the Memory Box dies! There are so many to choose from to show, but for today we are featuring the Puffy Clouds and Modern Landscape Dies. Here's the card we made with these 2 dies.
We started with a base card in Kraft and then cut out patterned paper that entirely covered the front of the card. For this project, we used Memory Box's Spearmint paper.
We then used the Modern Landscape Die and cut it out using Kraft cardstock.
Then we used the Puffy Clouds die and cut it out using white cardstock. To create the illusion of depth, we glued the 2 smaller clouds flush to the card and then popped up the larger cloud on top of one of the smaller ones.
To make the layers stand out, we edged all sides of the Kraft cardstock with Shabby Shutters Distressed Ink and we edge the clouds with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
For more ideas on the many ways you can use these versatile dies, come and visit us at the store. There's lots to choose from!

Don't Forget DAD!
Stamp D-A-D on three different colours of card stock. Line up the D-A-D as shown, then FLIP OVER and cut the green and beige pieces to match the brown. Set Aside.
Stamp D-A-D on three different pattern papers.
Cut out the D-A-D on the printed paper. Cut the right side of the DAD on the green , beige and brown paper making sure to leave it attached (this step may be omitted for younger crafters). Glue the patterned D-A-D over the matching green, beige and brown D-A-D.
Line the D-A-D up so the ends match. Punch two holes, use eyelets to reinforce them if desired and thread the brown ribbon through and tie.
Now the base of your card is finished and you can add photos, coupons and Father’s Day greetings. HAVE FUN!
